Predominantly from India and other developing countries, there has been a massive upsurge in demand in recent years and it is easy to see why. Suddenly we have a hand dressed stone, extremely hard and durable (do not be fooled by the word sandstone) which costs less than many of the concrete imitators from UK manufacturers! Imported sandstone comes in many colours and finishes and is fast becoming available in many different shapes and forms. In our gallery, you can see how versatile it has become from the dramatic 'Nautical Star' to the simple doorstep. Our suppliers are constantly checking the quality of the stone as there are some unscrupulous downgraded products floating about!
